What is SimplyEHS?

SimplyEHS is an ESC compliance product that provides ready-to-use EHS Legal Registers covering environmental, health, safety, and selected sustainability regulatory requirements across Asia. All registers are developed and maintained by ESC’s in-country regulatory specialists, drawing on over 20 years of regional regulatory expertise.

What format is the register provided in, and what does it include?

The register is delivered in Excel format and structured for practical compliance use, including audit preparation and ISO-aligned management systems. It consolidates environmental, health, safety, and selected sustainability regulatory requirements into a clear reference. Quarterly updates provide the full updated file, with changes highlighted.

What is the difference between the Full Masterlist and the Industry-Specific register, and why is the Industry-Specific option priced higher?

The Full Masterlist provides comprehensive country-level regulatory coverage, allowing organisations to determine which requirements apply to their operations. The Industry-Specific register offers additional curation aligned to a defined industry, reducing the time required to identify relevant obligations. This targeted approach provides greater time efficiency, which is reflected in the pricing.

When does my subscription start?

For credit card payments, your subscription begins immediately after successful payment. For invoice payments, it begins once ESC confirms receipt of payment.

When are quarterly updates provided?

Updates are issued at the end of each calendar quarter — March, June, September, and December. The schedule is fixed and does not depend on your subscription start date.

Do I receive the full file during updates?

Yes. Each quarterly update includes the full updated Excel file, with amendments clearly highlighted.

Does my subscription renew automatically?

Credit card subscriptions renew automatically each year, with prior notification via email and dashboard. Invoice subscriptions do not renew automatically. Renewal requires payment before continued access to updated files is provided.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Access and updates continue until the end of your current subscription period.

How do I purchase an EHS Legal Register?

Create an account so your subscription can be securely linked to your organisation. Once registered, add your selected register to cart and proceed to checkout. Payment can be made by credit card or Invoice.

What happens if I pay by credit card?

Access is activated immediately after successful payment. You can download the register from your dashboard right away, which is particularly helpful for time-sensitive audit or compliance needs.

What happens if I choose Pay by Invoice?

Your order will remain pending until ESC confirms payment has been received. Access is typically granted within five business days after payment confirmation. Your subscription period begins from the payment confirmation date.

What currency are subscriptions priced in?

All subscriptions are priced in SGD (Singapore Dollar)

Can my team use the register internally?

Yes. The subscription is licensed for internal use within the registered organisation. Redistribution outside the licensed entity is not permitted.

How can I get clarification on the legal register or updates?

What if my country or industry is not listed, or I need customised coverage?

If your country or industry is not currently listed, or if your organisation requires multicountry or specialised regulatory coverage, please submit a request through the contact form or via the support button in your dashboard. Our team will review your enquiry and advise whether an existing register is suitable or whether tailored support through ESC’s advisory services is recommended.

Does ESC provide EHS audits and inspections services?

Yes. ESC provides a range of EHS and risk management services separately from the SimplyEHS subscription product.

Is SimplyEHS a software platform?

No. SimplyEHS is not a software system. It is an expert-curated compliance product delivered in Excel format for practical application.
